What We Mean by Alternative Therapies

Some people who have tried traditional talk therapy have found that it did not have the desired results. The variety of alternative, or nontraditional, therapies available at Aspen Valley Wellness allows us to truly tailor a more comprehensive treatment plan for each individual.

Nontraditional forms of therapy may be used as standalone treatments or in conjunction with traditional talk therapy. We offer a range of alternative therapies that includes everything from brain mapping and neurofeedback to expressive art therapy, meditation and diet changes.

We offer the following alternative therapies:

About Our Therapists & Therapies

Offering alternative therapies in our office is what largely sets Aspen Valley Wellness apart from other mental health providers in the area. Our therapists have a unique perspective on mental health. With a variety of resources at hand when developing treatment plans, our therapists often take an integrative and holistic approach with clients.

Some of our alternative therapies, such as technology-assisted meditation, may be used during individual therapy sessions, while others require that you schedule a separate appointment with a specific therapist.

Please note that payment for many alternative therapies is not reimbursed by all insurance companies. Prior to beginning treatment, please check with your insurance provider to learn if your treatment is covered.
